Derbyshire Recovery Partnership is pleased to be able to present Drug Awareness Training.

The aim of the session is to increase your knowledge about different types of illegal drugs and raise awareness of the dangers of misusing drugs.

Topics covered in the session include:

  • Recognising different types of illegal drugs and their effects
  • Categorising drugs into stimulant, depressant and/or Hallucinogens
  • Simple harm minimisation techniques
  • Drugs and the law
  • Knowing when and how to refer into specialist services

News! LWLTC Programme

The Living with a Long Term Condition Programme dates and venues of courses taking place from January 18 through to March 18.

FREE six-week course that aims to support people with a long term health or medical condidtion to deal with pain, fatigue, stress and depression as well as provide a forum to meet with others and share experiences.

Topics covered include healthy eating, relaxation, appropriate physical exercise, pacing yourself and communicating with friends, family and health professionals.

News! Lantern Making Masterclass

Pro Lantern Makers - We need you!

Lantern Making Masterclass takes place on the 29 October from 10am until 4pm.

There are places for up to 10 teams to work exclusively with lantern artist Rachel Carter prior to the public workshops starting. Ready, set, build!

Tickets £15 per team to cover materials.

Public Lantern making workshops start on the 4 November every weekend until the 19 November at the Assembly Rooms (10am until 4pm)
