Single Regeneration Budget

The Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) was set up in 1994 to bring together a variety of programmes and initiatives from several Government departments.

The aim was to simplify the funding process and to provide resources to support regeneration initiatives carried out by local regeneration partnerships.

The main priority of SRB was to enhance the quality of life of local people in areas of need by reducing the gap between deprived and other areas, and between different groups.

In 2007 the department of Communities and Local Government commissioned an evaluation of the SRB.

For more information about the SRB in Bolsover contact the
Partnership Office.
